Four Seasons at Jimbaran Bay
This stunning 5-star, all-villa resort stands out as one of the most exclusive accommodations in Bali. Located at the South of the Indonesian island, more precisely at the Jimbaran Bay, is home to 147 tumbling villas down the hillside, which allows for all of them to have, to different degrees, an incredible view over the Indian Ocean.
The resort resembles to a traditional Balinese village, featuring, amongst many other facilities, a 57 meter-long infinity pool and double sun loungers facing the sunset over the Indian Ocean. The volcanic architecture contrasts with the endless colorful gardens across the property, making you feel - literally - at heaven.
Relaxation O’Clock
Right from the first greetings from the Front Office team upon arrival, you will start relaxing to an extent you can’t even imagine.
At the Four Seasons at Jimbaran Bay everything is set to your comfort, with a laid-back ambience, the minimum 250 square meter rooms will delight the youngest and the adults.
Not only at the Healing Village Spa will you feel relaxed, but speaking of the devil, this amazing part of the hotel, features a double deck, with countless options to get relaxed, but being specialists - and I highly recommend it - in local-style massage, focusing on Ayurveda and Reiki.
The Villas
No matters the rate, your villa will have at least an extension of 250 sq.m., you will be able to take yoga lessons, kayak and catamaran sailing complimentary tours, meditation lessons and your children below 18 years old can stay free-of-charge at their parents’ villa, amongst countless other complimentary and chargeable activities.
My choice at the Four Seasons at Jimbaran Bay is undoubtedly the Deluxe Villa, as in my opinion is the best value for money option. Costs half of the Premier Ocean Villa, and the only difference is that the ocean view in the latter is 100%, meanwhile in the Deluxe Villa is partial. Price difference rounds €1,000.
All villas feature a typical Balinese garden, and you can choose between King Bed or Two Twin Beds. The Deluxe Villas in particular have 280 sq.m. surface, including the private plunge pool in each of the villas.
The couch in the room can convert into a bed, allowing for teens to stay free of charge in a very comfortable bed.
Villas have been designed and enlarged recently to make the lodging symbiotic with the ecosystem and the culture, using wooden materials as well as volcanic rocks and floral motifs making you not willing to leave your villa, even though there are plenty of things to do outside, which we will see later on.
One of the things you can do at your Villa is simply enjoy a bath or a cold shower in one of the two showers all villas feature, an indoor and an outdoor shower for everyone.
Four Seasons offers you daily, delivered at your room, tea and coffee to brew it yourself, fresh-cut fruit everyday of your stay, as well as hair dryer in every room.
The service level you will find at the Four Seasons at Jimbaran Bay will be just perfect, a good part of the staff has been working there for over 20 years, and they are extremely valuable professionals who know perfectly what their customers want.
The Sundara Beach Club will be a good part of your day to day at the Four Seasons at Jimbaran Bay. Sundara features the longest infinity pool in Indonesia, and most likely one of the longest in the world, with 57 meters long end to end, and just over the sugary sand of Jimbaran Beach.
The Club has a restaurant, where international options are served (I can assure you they are amazing). We had some sushi as well as some traditional chicken satay and it was honestly incredibly good. Pizzas are good too if nothing suits you!
On the Beach Club area you will find double loungers facing the sea, where the very friendly staff will serve you amazing cocktails while you enjoy the impressive sunset over the Indian Ocean. Worth staying there doing nothing at least an afternoon!
